Christian "Flake" Lorenz plushie
---
So, I bet you guys thought that I had given up on the RammPlushies project. I said I'd hopefully complete them by the end of May. Then June. And now it's more than halfway through July...and I finally get around to it
I'm making it my goal to finish Till tomorrow, I've already made parts of his plushie-size clothing!
Going to the fabric store yesterday provided me with some new inspiration to complete the plushies. I bought some more felt and I bought some buttons to make magnets for my magnetic whiteboard. (I'm currently pimping out my desk with lots of cool handmade stationery and cool containers.)
Any-way, here is Christian "Flake" Lorenz, in plushie form. Stands 6 inches tall, like the rest of them.
5th in my LIFAD/Ich Tu Dir Weh series of plushies. Nearly done!!
(Any suggestions for what outfits I should attempt next? )
Like Till, Flake has multiple outfits (as pictured in the shown issue of Kerrang!) I knew as soon as I watched Ich Tu Dir Weh, that I had to make the silver sparkly suit. I'd like to make the leather helmet as well that he's wearing on the cover of the magazine. He has a pair of felt glasses, and his mouth is done in black thread. I think he looks pretty cool!
Got through making the plushie in about 2 hours, the silver suit took forever, thanks to the icky thin foil jersey material slipping and sliding everywhere (but it was the only sparkly thing I could find in the right colour!).
I was originally going to make a jacket, but later just made a long sleeve top and sewed PlushieFlake into it. 3cm zip is a bit pointless...
Might give him shoes later, in fact, they'll all get some shoes later, as at the moment, Christoph is the only one who has shoes. They are a bit fiddly to sew, so shall be best saved for when I have some patience...
Was just thinking...a plushie treadmill
---
Time taken: approx. 6 hours
Materials: felt, foil jersey, hot glue, cotton thread, hobby fill.
Plushie pattern and tutorial are by the lovely , go visit her page!
