The Great Witch?

Premiered my Espella Cantabella cosplay at Oz Comic-Con Melbourne 2014!

There are moments where the sun, wind and costume all decide to co-operate with you, and my lovely photographer has managed to capture that moment! The sun was out for about three minutes during the time we shot this, and it was a little cold and windy.

This costume was supposed to be made for a convention back in April, to celebrate the release of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney at the end of March, but I was in rehearsal for a musical I was performing in on the weekend of the convention, and didn't get a lot of time to work on the costume! I started in late April and managed to finish the base dress, but everything else was completed in the last 2 weeks!

Relatively simple to sew, though I never want to work with pleather, ever again! I also repainted a book box to look like the Historia Labyrinthia, and used that as my handbag during the day (I fixed a handle to the spine to carry it with!) My belt pouch is fully functional and was used to carry my phone and cosplay cards!
